Kevin confirmou numa entrevista de rádio ( http://www.aarp.org/entertainment/books/info-10-2011/prime-time-radio-true-strength.html )sua participação neste filme.

O produtor/diretor Albert Pyun está tentando fazer uma nova versão com este título, que envolveria o filho de Aedan...o filme se chamaria RED MOON.

Albert: Kevin would be filming all new material. He plays a sort of cross between Eli from Book of Eli and the Jeff Bridges character in Star Man. A mystical High plains Drifter version of his Aedan character in Tales. Red Moon takes place 20 years after Tales ends. So its very much a its own and different movie.

Pyun expects to wrap the film, co-written by Cynthia Curnan and Randall Fontana, by November 24th. It marks his third collaboration with Fontana. Curnan also produces. The shoot will take place entirely in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the film has been already picked up for North America release by Wrekin Hill in the late spring 2012.

Red Moon serves as a sequel of sorts to the filmmaker's Tales of an Ancient Empire. Pyun tells us, "For Red Moon I took the sword and sorcery world into a post-apocalyptic world, a similar world to my Cyborg. So its grittier and darker. The idea is it's 20 years after Tales ends, and the vampires have totally destroyed civilization like a plague. Tanis (Melissa Ordway) is like the Mad Max character - the last remaining sentinel of good. It's a pretty harrowing tale, more horror than light adventure." He expects Kevin Sorbo and Michael Pare (who appear in Tales) to return along with Sasha Mitchell, Olivier Gruner, Cazzy Golomb, and newcomer Allexa D'Alessio.

Cyborg: Rise of the Slingers mixes steam and cyberpunk with post-apocalyptic vampire horror. It will chronicle the genesis of the Slingers, who were guardian mercenaries in Cyborg. And it will explain why the characters in Cyborg were named after musical gear.

O filme mistura punk cibernético com filme pós-apocalíptico de horror e vampiros. Ele falará da gênese dos Slingers, que eram os guardiões mercenários em Cyborg. E explicará por que os personagens em Cyborg foram nomeados com esse título.

Albert Pyun Movies

Cynthia got mad that I asked people to write in for a link. And she thought it best to break up the clip into smaller bite sized pieces. So Here's the opening of Red Moon. You'll notice from the prologue narration that its got the same intro style as Tales and The Sword and the Sorcerer. Keep in mind that the vefx houses are working feverishly to final the shots you see in this first clip. So shot...s are DRAFTS of the shots and Not anywhere near final. There's been no color correction at all. Music is TEMP as is the mix and there's minimal sound design work. But its moving forward! The narrator is the great Michael Halsey from Mean Guns and Postmortem and he appears as a major character later in the film. Hope you like this new stylization to a sword and sorcery film.

(...) Yeah, there is a Masters of the Universe feel to it. Using the The Three Musketeers as the underlying basis of the script provides solid dialogue and plotting.

The world is divided into Sorcerers (good) and Wizards (bad). Micheal is the head Sorcerer. Its exactly like the Musketeers versus the Cardinals men.

It's a PG film where sorcery co-exists with technology. Sort like Star Wars meets Harry Potter.
I tried to make the script in the spirit of Richard Lester's The Three Musketeers. So there's a lot of humor.
